ABOUT TIME ATTACK OUTDOOR ACTIVITY DAY
WiseUp Team Building’s new challenge for young people has a strong focus on fun, making it perfect for reward days and the end of term. Encouraging friendly competition, teams will run, crawl, plan and laugh their way across a range of over 35 timed activities. Time Attack features distinct levels for different age groups, and with no limit on numbers, can be used for groups of any size.
We come to you and bring all the equipment needed to run our innovative logical thinking challenges alongside modern takes on classic sports and games, meaning every student has the chance to show their personal strengths while time ticks down. Each task highlights a specific skill set and with input from our trained instructors, teams will be enhancing their communication and social development whilst racing to beat the clock and each other!
How will the day run?
Students will attend a short presentation about the day ahead, before being split into groups of 10. Three groups will be assigned one of our WiseUp instructors who will lead the teams in a round of warm up activities, designed to highlight students’ individual strengths and skills. Upon completion of these, the teams will remain with their instructor as they choose from a wide range of timed activities across several themed areas. Teams will compete against one another as well as the clock in challenges ranging from high energy, fast paced race style events to quick thinking memory tasks.
Rounding off the day, groups will vie for bonus points with one of our All-In Mega Challenges, going head to head against multiple teams in events which are guaranteed to ensure students finish the day laughing.
Final scores will then be calculated and the winning teams announced. Schools may provide prizes or rewards for the top teams if they wish.
After so many years as the leading provider of outreach outdoor education, WiseUp remains at the forefront of inventive activity development. With comprehensive information gathered and sent before every event, teachers are able to enjoy the day as much as their students, sharing valuable and enjoyable contact time. Bringing all the equipment to your site, our highly trained instructor teams will run Time Attack from set up to pack down, including all of the activities and challenges.
With over 35 new activities, alongside our multi team challenges, Time Attack is ideally suited as a full day event. Generally we find schools prefer to operate between their normal teaching hours, however we can accommodate most timings.
LIMITED ON TIME
A half day is great if you are looking to fill a short time slot. Half day sessions last up to 3 hours and are either a morning session running between 9am – 12.00pm or an afternoon session from 12.30pm – 3.30pm.
LIMITED ON BUDGET
Split days work well for groups who have a bit of a tighter budget. Our instructors work with half of the teams in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. By working with a smaller number of students at a time, this greatly reduces the cost of staffing the event, savings of which we then pass on to schools.
