Students in KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, Sixth Form and College love our Cumbria school team building activity days. WiseUp provide a full range of problem solving workshops for primary and secondary schools across the county. These are suitable for transition days, collapsed timetable weeks and end of term reward activities.
Indoor & Outdoor Challenges
Our purpose built problem solving equipment is versatile and weather proof. As a result, our events can be run in almost any space. We run indoor team building activity days which are great for when the weather is not so nice. Alternatively, if your school has limited outdoor space, our range of challenges can be spread across a couple of indoor areas. For schools with access to fields, our activity days are a brilliant way for students to appreciate the benefits of learning outside the classroom.
We Come to You
WiseUp cater for Primary and Secondary schools as well as Sixth Form Colleges and Universities. We run our activity days in schools across Cumbria, from bigger city comprehensive schools to small village preps and boarding schools. Just a few of the places we travel to include:

Bringing WiseUp to your school in Cumbria provides your students with a significantly cheaper activity day than taking them to an outdoor centre. One of our trained instructor teams will bring everything needed for a great event to your site. All equipment is provided, set up and packed away at the end of the event. The flexible nature of our activities means all group sizes are catered for, including whole year groups and entire schools.
Learning Outside the Classroom
Our team building and problem solving challenges fulfil many of the national curriculum STEM requirements. Additionally, our activity days meet the Ofsted standards for the provision of outdoor learning by schools for every key stage and year group. Problem solving tasks help students learn valuable reasoning skills which can then be applied across all subjects including science and maths.
Gifted and Talented Workshops
WiseUp’s extensive range of activities means we are able to put the minds of pupils in gifted and talented streams to the test. Hands on problem solving workshops encourage students to think outside of the box. Working in teams, they will need to demonstrate the application of skills and knowledge in an un-coventional setting. Occasional un-expected additions to challenges will test their ability to adapt to fast changing situations. As a result, this will strengthen their learning.
Our team building activities are the perfect opportunity for pupils with special educational needs to shine. With no time limits on many of our challenges, students can take the time to develop their own solutions as a result. Additionally, the design of our equipment means we are able to spread our challenges across several rooms if needed. This gives learners who may need a bit more quiet the chance to be actively involved in an environment that suits their needs.
