How We Work with You
The staff at WiseUp Team Building have worked with a wide range of group sizes and abilities. We frequently run events for students with various Special Educational Needs (SEN) and are able to cater for the physical, mental and emotional requirements of all participants. Similarly, as all of our activities are extremely adaptable, we are able to provide challenging sessions for higher achieving students in Gifted and Talented streams.
Our staff have worked in a number of different regions and environments and, as such, are well equipped to respect the cultural diversity of many of the groups we run events for. We are able to offer split sessions for male and female participants, as well as provide an all male or all female staff team if required (qualifications and sessions permitting).
Before the Event
Having received your completed booking form, your event will be confirmed. You will then be given access to our Members Area, which contains copies of all the relevant documents you may require, such as our risk assessments, DBS and child protection policies, and additional information for participating staff. Our team building days adhere to strict instructor to participant ratios and the information for each activity can also be found in the Members Area. We will contact you prior to the event to discuss timings and specific requirements for the programme, in addition to site related queries such as vehicle access and the location for the activities, briefing and de-brief.
If required, an on site pre-visit can be arranged with one of our senior staff to address any specific concerns or queries in person. Additionally, we are always contactable via email and phone, as well as for Skype sessions for face to face chats if preferred.
Day of Event
The WiseUp Team Building instructors will lead the day fully, from setting up to running the activities and packing down at the end of the event. Our staff will arrive on site early in order to allow plenty of time to set up the equipment. The lead instructor will liaise closely with the event co-ordinator to ensure they are satisfied with the programme and any last minute changes that may be needed are factored in with minimal disruption. All participating school staff will be given a comprehensive briefing about how the event will run and their role during the day.
After the Event
In order to ensure complete satisfaction, you will be sent a feedback form which we would greatly appreciate if you could fill in and return. This gives us valuable information regarding the success of each individual programme and how we, as a company, have met your requirements. We are constantly updating, expanding and evolving our activity portfolio and would like to keep you informed for any future activity days and events.
Many schools choose to re-book at this point for the following year, especially during our busiest periods in July and September, in order to retain their ideal dates.
